Sustrans (which stands for SUStainable TRANSport ) engaged Infinite Arts to evaluate a programme of work which had been developed in the Wansbeck Estuary focusing on a network of cycle routes running between Blyth, Ashington and Lynemouth in South East Northumberland along the riverside path.
The programme involved artists developing site-specific public artworks along cycle routes and involving the local community as appropriate.
Infinite Arts evaluated the project through contact with all key partners and produced a written report for Sustrans and the Northern Rock Foundation showing the benefits and learning points from the project.
